This 8 week mindfulness course will teach you simple, practical skills to enable you become more aware of your thoughts and feelings.
In any situation, including challenging ones, you will be able to choose how to respond rather than being pulled into unhelpful stress reactions.
Rather than feeling taken over by frustration or worrying thoughts, mindfulness provides a structured way to create a pause and to calm yourself. This can have a profoundly positive impact on how you behave, perform at work and feel about yourself.
The course includes:
- 8 x weekly sessions
- a course handbook
- guided audio mindfulness downloads
You will learn a variety of mindfulness practices and will be supported to practice these at home in between the course sessions.
The home practice forms an important part of this mindfulness course. There is an opportunity in each session to talk about your experiences of practicing at home, any obstacles that arise and how to deal with them skillfully.
